Sikkim Government Vocational College, Dentam maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form. We are committed to ensuring a safe, respectful, and protected campus environment for every student.
UGC Regulations
As per the "Regulations on Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions, 2009", ragging is completely prohibited. Any student found guilty will face strict disciplinary action, which may include suspension, expulsion, or legal proceedings.
Objective of the Cell
- To build a ragging-free campus culture.
- To sensitize students about the harmful effects of ragging.
- To monitor and supervise all student interaction areas in the college.
- To provide immediate assistance to any student experiencing harassment.
